Fit the barbecue stop around the place you are already going. The local pits are spread from Cordova Street to the beach, so crossing town for a random list is usually the least useful plan.
Old City or Fountain of Youth
Mojo Old City is the Cordova Street answer, with regional barbecue styles and two dog-friendly patios. It does not offer customer parking, so use the same city parking plan as the rest of the Old City day. Smoked Southern BBQ sits inside the Fountain of Youth parking lot and works as the simple lunch while you are already at the attraction.
West Augustine or US-1
Fire & Smoke is the family barbecue truck at Marina Munch in West Augustine. It can sell out, so make it an early stop. On US-1, Smokin' D's smokes meat for six to fifteen hours and closes when it runs out. Brisky's smokes for sixteen hours and has two dining rooms plus a bar, but no official website we could verify.
St. Augustine Beach
Jack's BBQ is a block from the ocean with a full bar. Its open status still needs a stronger current source because it has no website and the building has appeared in a commercial listing. Check the latest venue profile before making the drive.
Venue details were last verified September 18, 2026. Sellouts, hours, and operating status can change.
